We are excited to recognize the talented students who participated in the STEM Showcase Science Fair! These students showcased their creativity, innovation, and scientific thinking through their impressive projects, demonstrating a deep passion for learning and discovery.

The Emerson Art Club partnered with Glass Roots for a 5-week program where 8th graders had the opportunity to create their own mosaics made of glass and grout. Over the course of this program, students were able to explore their creativity and artistic skills, crafting impressive pieces that reflect their talent and dedication.

We are very pleased to honor our highest academic achievers here at Emerson. This year, our celebration emphasized the hard work and dedication of our students who achieved high honors in both the 1st and 2nd Marking Periods.

Our amazing school counselors organized a fantastic activity for our 8th grade applicants to Jose Marti STEM Academy, Hudson County Schools of Technology, and County Prep. Students gathered in our renovated media center, where they practiced answering potential questions and refining their interview techniques for the upcoming interviews.

At Emerson, hydroponics has long been a cornerstone of our efforts to demonstrate innovative and sustainable ways of growing crops within an urban environment. This year is no different, as our Hydroponics Club is currently working on our third harvest of the year.

We are immensely proud to present this year's inductees to the National Junior Honor Society, one of the oldest and most prestigious recognitions in education.
