On January 11th, 2020, First Lady Tammy Murphy hosted a Family Festival in Jersey City whereby 100 UC Schools families attended the event. The Family Festival was sponsored to bring notice to the NJ NURTURE campaign whose goal is to bring attention to the plight of maternal and infant health crisis in the State of New Jersey.
The festival was filled with free food, activities, music, prizes and many avenues of information for the public. Many organizations such as NJ Children's Alliance, Boys & Girls Club, Jersey City Medical Center, and so many more.
