The Emerson Middle School gathered our Emersonian families for a fun evening of pasta and bingo. Winners of the bingo games received prizes. We had an incredible evening with our students and their families.

The Emerson Middle School celebrated Pi Day. The students enjoyed a day of learning about the history of Pi and how it is used in real world as well as mathematical scenarios. Our new Emersonian Record for the digits of Pi memorization contest is now 178 digits held by our 7th grader, Oliver Santana. We hope all of our Pi Day competition winners enjoyed their pies.

Please be advised Dining Services has produced their seasonal newsletter from Chartwells. There are very important highlights concerning the focus of raising student interest in fruit as well as vegetable consumption by increasing the usage of locally grown food and much more. On February 16, 2023, the Emerson Middle School celebrated our students' successes by awarding pupils and their families with a High Honors and Special Awards Dinner. They are truly amazing and have a wonderful future ahead of them in the Union City School District.

The Emerson Middle School chapter of the National Junior Honor Society is proud to have been inducting new members since 2020. This year’s ceremony indicates the continuing emphasis on excellence that we represent for our school and community. Throughout the year, members of our chapter serve as role models for other students.

Emerson Middle School 8th Graders were certainly ready for their graduation portraits. They were very excited to put on their caps and gowns for the first time. Congratulations to our 8th grade students in preparation for their graduation.

Here is an important notification for parents as the Emerson Middle School will be holding picture day for our 8th grade graduating students on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 and Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Please read the attached letter and order form.
